Welcome to Seasonal Yoga - Ealing Area

Seasonal Yoga was created by Sue Woodd and Julie Hanson in 1995.  It is designed to align our lives with the changing energies of nature and the seasons to create harmony and balance.  Guiding us away from the stress and anxiety of modern life, to an enhanced sense of well-being, peace and gratitude.  Blending ancient Eastern philosophies with modern science, anatomy, nutrition and psychology; Seasonal Yoga provides an essential toolkit to help us navigate our internal energy reserves leading to greater health and vitality.

Classes in the Northfields and Ealing area, are themed around the Five Element Theory which aligns the worlds natural resources of wood, fire, earth, metal and water with a season, energy, meridians, body organs, emotions, colour, taste and many other things.  Asanas (postures) are specifically selected to work with the body organs and energy channels of each season to release any blockages and create harmony.  In Seasonal Yoga we have 6 season including two short transition seasons of Ealy Summer and Late Summer.

My classes which are located in Ealing and Northfields will teach you to recognise your internal energy patterns as easily as you recognise the changing landscape of the season when you walk in the park or look out of the window.  Classes are designed to be fun& inclusive - absolutely everyone is welcome.  Our practice will evolve throughout the year and all classes are suitable for beginners.
